Dear Tall Girls,
We too remember being made to feel small because our shoulders often towered over the boys. We remembered the trips to the mall with our friends. Store after store the waist was too big but the pants long enough or the jeans too short but the waist fitting perfect. We also remember capris well jeans but for us always capris.
“We too remember being made to feel small because our shoulders often towered over the boys.”
We remember slouching and too little shoes., the fear that instantly came with buying flats and insecurity building with every laugh and snicker.
We remember jolly green giant, Amazon, tree, stilts and all the other names that our height brought.
Most of all we remember being just like you. Now that we have shared those memories we have some new things for you to remember.
“We remember jolly green giant, Amazon, tree, stilts and all the other names that our height brought.”
Remember that your height is beautiful. Remember to hold your head up even higher when you consider slouching. Remember that difference is the foundation of success. Remember that the guys that pick on you probably like you and were too afraid to tell you. Most of all remember that you were made to stand above the crowd.
“Your height is beautiful.”
